ત્રણેય લોકો માં શરણાઈ  ગુંજશે
પણ તમારા વગર કોઈ કમી રહી જશે
તો મારા ભાઈ ના લગન માં જરૂર પધારસો


વાગશે ઢોલ ને શરણાઈ ની ના સુર રેલાશે,
કરીશું પ્રેમ ના રંગો ની રંગોળી અને સંબંધ બંધાશે
રડીયામ્લી રાતે, સંગીત ના તળે રમસુ રાસે
આવો પધારો અમારા આંગણે,તમારા થી જ અમારી શોભા થશે


વાટ જોતા હતા જે ઘડી ની એ શુભ પલ આવી છે
ઘણી બધી વાતો છે દિલ મા , તમને કેહવી છે
આવો મળી ને આ ઉલ્લાસ ના પ્રસંગ ને માણીએ
પ્રેમ ભર્યા નિશ્વાર્થ હૃદય થી વાર વધુ ને વધાવીએ


મીઠા મધુર એવા લગ્ન ના પ્રસંગ મા
સ્નેહ ના રંગો થી રંગોળી પૂરાવ જો
કુમકુમ કેરા સાથીયા બનશે અમારા અંગના માં
અપનો કીમતી સમય ફાળવી જરૂર ને જરૂર આવજો


અમારા પરિવાર માં આવ્યો આજ રૂડો અવસર
પધારજો તમે નહીતો રહી જશે દિલ માં કોઈ કસર
તમારા પ્રેમ અને આશીર્વાદ ની અનેરી રહેશે અસર
રાહ જોઈશું અમે કે તમે આવો ને દૂધ માં ભલે કેસર


મંગલ ફેરા વાર વધુ ના પુષ્પો થી વધાવીશું
ગીત, ઢોલ અને શરણાઈ થી મધુર સુર રેડાવીશું
ઉપસ્થિતિ હશે આપ વડીલો , સ્નેહી-સંબંધી, મિત્રો ની
જેનાથી આ સુભ પ્રસંગ ને અવિશ્માંર્નીયા બનાવીશું



દીવડાઓ પ્રગટાવી રાખ્યા છે આપ ની રાહમાં અત્યારે
હૃદય અધીરા બની  રહ્યા છે આપ ની વાટ પર
લગ્ન નો સુભ મંગલ પ્રસંગ આવ્યો છે અત્યારે
મિત માંડી ને બેઠા છીએ અમે આપ ના આગમન પર



ચંદ સિતારા ની રોનક પણ અમને આછી લાગશે
તમારા થી જ તો અમારા પ્રસંગ ની સોભા વધશે
ખુબ ભાવ થી લખી છે તમને આજ કંકોત્રી
વાહલા ને વિનંતી છે, તમે આવો તો ખીશીઓ ની રમઝટ જામશે


શીતલતા ચંદ્રમાં થી અને મધુરતા ગુલાબ ની લઇ ને
સ્નેહી તમને નિમંત્રણ છે વિશેશ કરી ને
વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ સહ પરિવાર કર જોડી ને
આવો સૌ માનીએ પ્રસંગ અનેરો સૌ સાથે મળી ને



પ્રસંગ છે અમારા કુળદીપક ના સુભ લગ્ન એવો
વિવકે ભર્યો ભાવ કરીએ છીએ પ્રગટ,સહ પરિવાર કેવો
બનશે આપ ની ઉપસ્થાતી અમારે મન , વહાલ ના સાગર જેવો
વેહલા પધારો જરૂર થી, આગ્રહ રેહશે તમને અમારો એવો

I am not the right person to praise the Bhartiya - Sahitya,Sanskar and Parampara.. Still I would like to say that I love the each and every tradition.

Today it's about the tradition and the way to invite loved one's on the occasion of marriage.We call that invitation card as SUBH KANKOTRI.

Now a days there is new trend to add TAHUKO to give sweet reminder to every body to please do come on time for the celebration.


I have written few for the same and they are,


Sneh na sambandh nu vavetar thase,
Jivan no amulya prasang banse,
traney loko ma sarnai gunjase,
pan tamara vagar koi kami rahi jase..
to mara kaka na lagan ma jarur padharso



Vagse dhol ne sarnai na sur relase,
Karishu prem na rango ni rangoli,
Radiyamli rate,sangit na tale ramsu rase,
Avo padharo amara angne, tamara thi j amari sobha thase




Vat jota hata je ghadi e subh pal aavi chhe,
ghani badhi vato chhe dil ma , tamne kehvi chhe,
aavo, mali ne aa ullas na prasang ne maniye,
Prem bharya nishwarth hraday thi var vadhu ne vadhaviye



Mitha madhura eva lagna na prasang ma,
Sneh na rango thi rangoli purav jo.
Kumkum kera sathiya banse amara angna ma,
Apno kimti samay falvi jarur ne jarur avjo.



Solanki parivar ma avyo aaj rudo avsar,
Padharjo tame nahito rahi jase dil ma koi kasar.

Geet, Dhol ane Sarnai thi madhur sur redavishu.
Upasthiti hase aap vadilo,snehi-sambandhi,mitro ni,
Jenathi aa subh prasang ne avishmarniya banavishu.

These are my golden day in fact these were my golden days... my college life. The happiest,the craziest,the superb days of life but now they are about leave me. I am just about to complete my masters degree and will be introduced to this professional IT field after 6 years of college life.

There were times when I was been introduced as king of my own kingdom but now I have stepped into the real world were I have no identity no reputation only some dreams and lot of hard work to do.

The first challenge of this new life is get started off with an excellent opportunity to prove my skills and this is my first experience. I have been never felt so dependent and so tied ever before.

I kept the faith in me and my God, I have been successful to get a good start but this song was written in the days of my little struggle. I hope this will touch your own story of daily life..

Its always been said that the time is for the youth.. The youth has now to take the responsibility.

I was thinking that how the youth of the country should be like,

ચાલતા માર્ગે જો સામે વૃદ્ધ મળે 

           ઓ એને માં બાપ કહી ને પોકારતો હો જી રે 

            અને સેવા ઘણી ભારોભાર કરતો હો જી રે 

એ કેવી તારી ભક્તિ જુવાનીયા જુવાનીયા ઓ જી રે 

One who worship God all over a day but don't fulfill his duty towards his parents is not a "Bhakt" in any manner... The true "Bhakti" of a young can be seen by only one thing.. when he consider every other old age person as his own mother and father and tries everything to serve them to please them.. that is the only way to worship the God..

          ભોલે ભોલે કરી ને જ્યાં સાદ કરે 

          ત્યાં તો જટાધારી શિવ પોતે સામે આવે

The power of a young man can not be measure if he goes out and fight with his ten country people...If he can pull some hundred kilogram weight.. If he is so dedicated and so lost in the love and respect of the God and The principle to live the life which are set by God.. that man.. only that man.. can call the God  anytime and anywhere to come down to help in solving the difficulties of life.. That is the Real Power of a Young.

The greatness and the richness of young can no be determined by which car,bike he drives or which brand cloth,watch he wears.... 

The one who lives in village and every early morning he wake up and goes to the farm... and work so hardly to grow the food for his country people.. That is the Royalty... That is the Greatness of the young.

સંકટ સમયે ના કદી પાછો હટે 

        એ પ્રભુ રામ નું લઇ નામ આગળ વધે 

        વારસો ઈ ભારત ના શુરવીરો નો જી રે 

એ કેવી તારી મસ્તી જુવાનીયા જુવાનીયા ઓ જી રે 

To go around with friends and to party without any reason all night and saying.. "Yo, we live life like king size".. That's not the "Joy" of living the Life..

But one who back himself in any difficult situation... and never fall back... Having strong believe in the Lord the one who keeps fighting.. That's the true inheritor of the Great Indian fighters and then each moment of his life becomes the "Celebration"

 સઘળી સંપતિ આપે એક જ ક્ષણ માં 

        લોહી બાળે ને શરીર એનું ઓગાળે 

        જયારે જોવે ક્યાય સેવા નું કાજ રે 

એ કેવી તારી દ્રષ્ટિ જુવાનીયા જુવાનીયા ઓ જી રે 

One who opportunity to earn.. and make money and wealth for self is not the true visionary or ideal role model. 

But the one who is ready to give away everything he owns... and not only that.. but who is ready to serve.. by working hard himself... that's the greatest visionary and young role model.

પ્રેમ ત્યાગ તણી જેની બે નીશાનીયું 

        જે ઉભો અડીખમ રહે સરહદે રે 

        દુશ્મન કોઈ આંગણે આવી ચઢે જો 

મોત એને મન ઘણી સસ્તી જુવાનીયા જુવાનીયા ઓ જી રે 

Many time I see news around of suicide of young people around in the name of love and family stress.. but I will consider it as a total waste..

The true spirit of nationality can be seen only in the eyes of soldiers.. Who gives us the strongest example of Love and Sacrifices.. One who stands his ground in any difficulties and If the time arrives to fight in war.. He never values for his own life but only the respect and pride of his nation.

Grandpa’s Bell.

This is a story of a family living besides our house. In that family there were a old grandpa and his son and daughter in-law with their little boy.
The grandpa was retired bank officer, people are used to say that they have never seen another man as hard working and as honest as this old buddy. The grandpa has lost his wife a few years ago. He was a kind of holy person whose nature is so kind, I remember he was used to buy candy for all the kids around.

His son, was working as a manager in a Insurance company. He was kind of money oriented and was a little bit show off person. With God’s grace he had almost each of the facilities in his house. The three floored full furnished house, car, money.

His wife was also a high educated modern woman , who love to be as much of social as she can.

The kid, he was totally just like another kids. He loved his grandpa.

Now, the Grandpa is getting older and often fall ill, he was so serious few times. The son and his wife took him to the hospitals and take care of him at home. The friends and relatives often came to their house to know Grandpa’s health.

But, because of regular illness of Grandpa, The man has to take few leaves from his office and he got some notice from his company for being irregular, he was quite upset with that..  was feeling like losing his career. The daughter-in-law was also quite bored and tired, because of the Grandpa’s health he has to cancel or post pond many of her parties and club picnics.

Some day they decided to hire one servant to take care of Grandpa, to make him walk to the bathroom, to change his clothe, to serve him food, to give him medicines.. and they hired one.

It became little easy for the couple now, As he was very loved and respected person in society because of his work and nature, people often come to see him but at the old age the medicine event didn’t work much and his health was getting poor and poor.

As the grandpa’s room was on the ground floor, The couple felt like disturbed and upset by seeing the old man in problem..  They decided to shift him up at the third floor of the house.

After a week the servant whom they hired came to the Man and said “My mother is so ill in the village and I will need to go there, either you give me some leaves or I can resign from the job” and the servant left.

Again the couple had to take care of the Grandpa them self and this time they were just not upset but got angry because one of the person need to seat near by to take care whole day and night.

Next day the woman, came up with an idea to tie a bell in Grandpa’s room and told him that.. whenever you need help.. ring the bell.. so I can be in the drawing room and watch my daily show on TV.

Once when the bell rang, the man went up the third floor and found the bell was rang by the kid and not the grandpa.. he got angry and shouted on him… “This is not to play with.. go to your room”

This worked for a few days. Whenever grandpa need anything he ring the bell, the man or woman go up and help him.

But because of the poor health and the behavior of the son and daughter-in-law the Grandpa couldn’t survive more and he died.

When he died, rather being sad the couple was feeling quite a relief .Their little kid was trying to remove the bell, the father helped him and gave him the bell and say now you can play with it.. the boy replied “No papa, I won’t play with it.. I will save it to use again when you get old.”

દુહા :

એ જેને જગત આખુયે જાણે , એક એવું નામે છે "જલારામ"

પણ બહુ ઓછા મને સાંભરે, કે જેને હૈય્યે આવી વસ્યા "રામ"

             જેનો આખો જન્મારો હતો સેવા કાજે

              પ્રેમ થી જમાડે જે આગ્રહ કરી 

               રોગીઓ ની પીડા ને જેણે દુર કરી 

ધન્ય ધન્ય છે એની માત રાજબાઈ  એવા જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... 

દેવી વીરબાઇ થાકી જેઓ આગળ વધ્યા 

               માર્ગે સત ને ધર્મ કેરા ચલતા રહ્યા 

ધન્ય ધન્ય છે દેવી વીરબાઈ  એવા જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... 

ગુરુવાણી સુણી ને ભોજા ભગત ની 

              કસોટી પાર કરી હતી જેણે દેવો ની 

ધન્ય ધન્ય છે ગુરુ ભોજલરામ  એવા જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... 

એ જ્યાં ડંડા અને જોળી એની શાખ પૂરે 

              સર્વ ભક્તો ની ઈચ્છાઓ પુરી કરે 

ભક્તિ હતી તમારી જેવી રામ પ્રભુ ની 

               શક્તિ દેજો મનેય માર્ગે તમ ચાલવાની 

ધન્ય ધન્ય છે રામ ભક્ત  એવા જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... 

અંતિમ દુહા  :

ક્યાંય  જેનો  જોટો નથી  એવા ભક્ત શ્રી બાપા જલારામ 

જે એમણે કીધું અને કર્યું , તમેય કરો ને તમારે ગામ ..

ભૂખ્યા ને ભોજન આપી .. એ પછી .. પછી ..સુખે ભજો ને રામ

I consider "Bhakti Shri Jalaram Bapa" as one my "Guru".. but I confess that I have always been a poor student..Still I have always tried to know as much I can about him, still I know much less.. but with God's grace I have been able to understand much more from the less information I have about "Bapa"

The above written "Prerna Prarthna Geet" was just a little try to show you what I feel and what I have understood.

               રોગીઓ ની પીડા ને જેણે દુર કરી

"Jalaram Bapa" was born in Virpur,Gujarat on "Kartak Sud Satam".. The Great Man had dedicated all his life to serve the man kind..
He was used to call all the passing by people to come to his place, he give them food and do serve them well with pure feeling of his heart. The "Bapa" was so connected with Lord Ram that whenever he pray for anyone... even the person suffering from serious illness get recovered soon.

As in any great human being the role of his mother in his life was so much impressive.. So before bowing my head infront of "Bapa" I will always respect and remember his mother "Rajbai".. and not only his mother.. My mother too. because without a mother there is nothing.. nothing in the world.

દેવી વીરબાઇ થાકી જેઓ આગળ વધ્યા 

               માર્ગે સત ને ધર્મ કેરા ચલતા રહ્યા

"Jalaram Bapa" got married with "Sati Virbai" , The source of support and motivation for "Bapa" to continue to work of serving people. She always stood by him and supported him in all his noble work.

There is a woman behind every great person, and the greatness of "Virbai" was also so much like "Bhakt Shri Jalaram Bapa"

ગુરુવાણી સુણી ને ભોજા ભગત ની 

              કસોટી પાર કરી હતી જેણે દેવો ની 

ધન્ય ધન્ય છે ગુરુ ભોજલરામ  એવા જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... જય જય જય જય શ્રી જલારામ જલારામ ... 

The "Bapa" met a "Guru" of his life "Bhojalram ji", He gave him "Guru mantra" and "Jap Mala" ..  With his great blessings and inspiration "Bapa" started "Sadavrat" where every need ful can come and gets food everyday.

Once when Angels cam in a form of "Sant" and asked him to donate his wife "Virbai" so she can serve them... with the permission of "Sati" he donated his wife.. and when "Virbai" walked away.. as soon as they passed the vilage the saint got disappeared and there was a voice from the sky.. "We are pleased to see the greatness of you both.."

Everybody needs a "Guru" in their life.. by walking on the way he showed having trust and believe on his words you can pass any test of the life.

એ જ્યાં ડંડા અને જોળી એની શાખ પૂરે 

              સર્વ ભક્તો ની ઈચ્છાઓ પુરી કરે 

ભક્તિ હતી તમારી જેવી રામ પ્રભુ ની 

               શક્તિ દેજો મનેય માર્ગે તમ ચાલવાની

In the temple of Virpur, The "Dela" there are still kept the "Danda" and "Joli" which were given by the Angel Saint to Virbai ma and Jalaram bapa.. People have strong believe in their heart and that's a truth..that anyone comes their with a open heart.. he will get his all desires fulfilled.

The "Jalaram bapa" was the greatest "Bhakt" of Lord Ram.. and all of his life he prayed Ram and work for the principles set by the Lord Ram. I wish that the "Jalaram Bapa" gives all of us the power to do such good works he has done all his life.. "Bhakti" and "Seva"

જયારે જયારે.. જરૂર જણાઈ રાજ ને ત્યાં ,

ત્યારે ત્યારે કંઈ કેટલા..અહી.. રણે ચડ્યા

                          હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ 

ઊંચો આભ ને પડકારા દેતો ગરવો ગિરનાર 

નાથ શામળીયા એ જ્યાં કર્યો વસવાટ 

કે સોમનાથે બિરાજે છે ભોળો ભગવાન 

                          હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ 

જેના સપૂતો કંઈ એવા શુરવીર થયા 

લડ્યા મર્યા પણ આજેય જીવી ગયા 

કે જેની ખાંભીઓ છે ગામો ગામ રે 

                        હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ

The above poem was written by me on a day when I was in the thinking of my native place "Saurashtra" ...

Frankly speaking.. I have not read about my place.. I have no any historical knowledge about my native.

But still don't know how I got to create above poem... I have dedicated the above one to the "Saurashtra" and it's people.

Now I will try and elaborate as much I can about the each line of the poem.

જયારે જયારે જરૂર જણાઈ રાજ ને ત્યાં ,

Whenever the state has required, in all those difficult times there were many who fought till the last breath for this pure and great land... 

It may include many kings and prince.. known and unknown today and know It's our time..time to take the liabilities on our shoulders to keep the Greatness and Grace of the land as high as It was and It is.  

ઊંચો આભ ને પડકારા દેતો ગરવો ગિરનાર 

નાથ શામળીયા એ જ્યાં કર્યો વસવાટ 

કે સોમનાથે બિરાજે છે ભોળો ભગવાન 

                          હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ 

The nature and the almighty God has himself blessed this land in so many ways. Greates "Siddhkhsetra".. Girnar is there ... who is standing tall.. like he is a son of Saurashtra and taking proud of being one of them. The Lord Krishna.. he also came down all the way from "Mathura" to "Dwarika".. He has choosed this powerful land to be his new city... I am just thinking and taking proud that how much lucky I am to born here. The Lord of The Lord "Mahadev" Shiv also have one of his twelve "Jyotirling" here as Somnath Temple where every human can go and get the peace of life.

જેના સપૂતો કંઈ એવા શુરવીર થયા 

લડ્યા મર્યા પણ આજેય જીવી ગયા 

કે જેની ખાંભીઓ છે ગામો ગામ રે

As I said, I have not done much research work that I can write thesis on its, but The proof of Saurashtra's People being brave and kind is the "Khambhi" in every village of the land. They have fought for the proud of this holy place.. and many of them sacrificed their life.. If you want to know about them.. you will have to visit each of the village of the "Saurashtra".. cause the Mother land Saurashtra have so much power in it that she has given birth to lots and lots of brave and bold sons.

કવિ બારોટ ચરણો એ જેને જીવન ધર્યું 

જે દામો કુંડ નાહ્યું  એનું જીવન તર્યું 

કે જે ગોમતી માં નાહ્યું એનું જીવન તર્યું 

                       હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ 

I am nothing, I have done nothing till yet .. and I know even if I try whole my life to repay the debt of this mother.. I won't be able to repay a single percent of it.. but there have been many .. many.. many... writiers..poets..singers who has given their life to keep alive the culture, the history and the stories of Saurashtra... In the land of there are some specific cast people..who are extremely blessed by the Goddess "Ma Saraswati" and they have used their talent.. they have shown their love..respect for their mother land...I salute them all.. and will be respectful to them ever.

"Damodar Kund" the place in Girnar, Junagadh is meant to be one of the place where people can just go once and get washed away all of their sins and.. look at the grace of almighty.. he has blessed the "Land of Saurashtra" by not only but two of such places and the second one is "Gomati Maiyya". 

જો ને કેવા મોટા ભક્તો ને દાતા અહિયાં 

જેનું નામ  જપવા થી સૌ દોષો ઠર્યા    

કે જાવ જોય આવો, મીઠો કેવો આવકાર મળે 

                        હું તો વાત કરું છું સોરઠ ભોમ ની રે લોલ 

The culture of Great Saurashtra is always been like.. as a most respectful person in the place the "Bhakt".. one who is connected with God.. comes at first place.. the "Data" who donates comes at second the the "Shurvir"  the brave fighter..comes at the third place...and here in Saurashtra you will found so many Bhakt..starting from the Great "Narsinh Mehta" , Satadhar's "Sant", Parab Vavdi na "Devidas" bapu.. Virpur's "Jalaram bapa", Bagdana's "Bapa Bajrangdas"..there are lots and lots of holy names to be taken..by taking their name only all the goodness comes in your heart...

It would be somewhat like moving ahead a step.. but I have believe in my brothers and sisters of Saurashtra that they wont let me down after saying this "You can go any time.. anywhere in saurashtra..and you will see the hospitality the nature and the love of a true Saurashtra"

Journey of the Bus

I often travel by the bus. Today I was thinking that what the benefits I had by travelling using bus else then reaching back to my home after work.

I found many more things that a bus travelling has taught me, may be you will also get agree with me.. once you read this.

When I get on the bus, I need to buy a ticket for the place I want to go.. In life also when you have a dream to achieve.. a place to reach in your life.. you will need to pay for it.. nothing comes for free.. to achieve the goal some need to do hard work and some need to do a lot of hard work..as no one is allowed to travel without ticket … no one will get success without hard work… yeh sometime it may happen that.. you buy ticket, take a seat.. go to sleep and get off the bus when bus reached to your station.. but you can’t use as argument against…sincerely.

After that, I need to look around for the free seats and if there’s any available I need to adjust there.. the same way in life anywhere in life… you need to look for the opportunities and resources you have.. as per them you will need to adjust your self and by making best use of them you will need to carry on.. as you can’t take a seat from home or you can’t always have the window seat.. you can’t have opportunities and resources you demand.. you will have to use what you got.

Sometimes it may happen that you don’t get any free seat.. then you may have to stand up.. but if you keep looking around when the next or another next station come.. there will be some free seats.. the same way.. in life also.. if you don’t have enough resource and opportunities then also you will have to continue your work.. the opportunities may come in the way.. you never know

It may happen that after a wait you would have got a seat.. and at the same station one old lady get on the bus and you give her your seat willingly.. the same way.. you might have got a place, a thing… after a wait.. if you feel that there’s somebody who need it more than you and you can still wait for it.. you should do the same.. because you are not born to only take away.. you are born to give.

I remember that was a quite nice incident happened one day.. Me and another boy get on the bus same time and there was only one free seat available.. I looked to him and he looked to me.. he promptly asked me to take a seat.. and gently I offered him the seat… the aunty seating near.. suggested.. why don’t you both seat turn by turn for a while…I think.. in life too we can solve our each and every problem only by sharing it with each other and helping and understanding one another is the only key.

Once it happened like two of the passengers were quarreling with each other on some stupid issue.. at the time the conductor came and stopped them..saying “You got to get off the bus..after one station and you sir.. after 3 station..then for this sort time ..why you are quarreling.!!”.. the same applies for the life is too sort why we should spread the hate.. we should not fight.. rather should stay together.

After the above incident I developed one habit.. to give a normal smile to anybody I see in the bus..who ever looked to me… I give him/her a smile… and you know what.. today I have many smiley friends..many smiley uncles and aunties. The same habit we can apply in the life.. and give love and respect to each person around you and that will bring the happiness.

I also thought another thing.. like.. there happens to come so many station in a way.. and people are getting off the bus.. why don’t I get off with them.. sometimes it happens life because of traffic the bus took a long time to reach at my place then also I wait for the my place to come… Why don’t I get off in between.. while in life it happened to me many times like.. as a student I thought to get 90% marks and if I get 70% then also I got happy..If I have decided to buy some specific collection watch.. why I don’t wait till I get that much money and I go to buy some another watch with the half price…Now I have learned to wait.. wait for the Place to come.. and till then keep working to reach there.

You reach at your specific place only because the driver is driving safely on the correct way.. think as if he don’t even know the path then would it have been possible for you to reach to your place..no way..  So in life also need to take care about who is driving you… the friends.. the surrounding you have who are affecting on you..how they are?..are they know the correct path to live the life? Else they will always direct you on the wrong way.

You know what, I get off at my station even still the bus was going far ahead.. the same way.. its you.. who need to decide the station to reach.. because the life’s nature is like water to go on and on.. so be careful while choosing the station to reach and stop else keep travelling in the bus.

The Lucky Coin

This is a short story I heard from my mother.. She is an excellent story teller..

So, Lets start the story.. because If I will start to praise my mother… than I don’t know how many blogs I would write.. seriously

This is a story about a boy.. who was all alone in this world. The boy was very unlucky as he lost his parents in very early stage of life…there was no one whom he can consider as his dear ones.

The boy at the age of around 5-6 was walking on street without any guardian, his life was so poor.

While walking alone on the road, one good person show him.. he took the boy with him. That person was a professor in that city’s college and was a real gentleman. He started taking care the boy as his own son. He helped boy grow up and give him the best education he can.

On the other side, the boy was so pleased.. he had found the way to live the life.. he was so thankful to God that God has sent that man in a way across to his life. He always followed all the instructions from the Professor.. He also consider the professor as his father and have a great respect for him in his heart.

The boy was so hardworking as much as the professor was so kind. The boy do all kind of house hold work he can do to help the professor. The boy was intelligent too in his studies. He completed his schooling and than the bachelor degree as well.

Now, the day came..when the professor and the boy was sitting along on a bench in the garden. Professor talked to the boy “Listen buddy, I had not enough money but still I tried to take care of you as much I can.. Now you are a graduate.. I wish that you go out in the world on your own basis and do something in your life for yourself”

The boy was quite shocked listening to this he was thinking that now he might need to leave this great man.. He will miss his caring nature..

But even though he was sad he said “Ok.. professor.. as you wish.. If you wish I should do that.. I will”

The professor smiled at him, both got up and went to the house and that night they had last dinner together.

Next morning, Professor came to the boy and said “I have no any big saving that I can give.. but here is the Gold coin I had from my father.. I would like to give this to you as it’s always been my lucky charm.. I wish this will be yours lucky charm too.. and do come back to see me when you feel you have achieved enough in your life..!”

The boy took the coin and get leave from the house with words “I will achieve the dream you see for me.!!”

The boy went to another city… and started looking for any job any business he can do there. He applied many places but unfortunately he didn’t get any opportunity instantly.

As he had no any house and no money to stay in hotel.. he sleep on footpath.. without any food..

This happened for quite a few days.. every night he got to sleep…with the memory of his professor.. with the dream to achieve and looking at the lucky charm..the golden coin he received from the professor.

But, The God was testing him.. he didn’t got any job.. and he had no enough money to start a business on his own.. and now because of fast from last few days.. he became so weak..he was literally broken from inside.. he started thinking life he wont be able to do anything..he want be able to achieve his dream.. he was feeling like he lost everything..

He was so depressed that he was about to commit suicide.. he was walking towards the river bridge.. but in the way…he found one jewelry shop.. He got idea once to sale that lucky Golden coin..

But because of the love and respect he had for his professor he was in big trouble to decide to sale or not to sale the coin… and finally he decided to sale the coin.

He got a few money from the coin.. and he was too hungry.. he went to a food shop.. ordered, bought and got the food.. he ate it all like he never seen any food before.. after eating when he was thinking “now what?” and about to start walking away.. His mind strikes and got an idea to start the food shop..

From the rest of money he left with.. he started a small food shop on the corner of the footpath.. and with the whole hard work and God’s grace.. his business ran well.. he succeeded with the idea and soon he built a nice restaurant in the city.

He then went to see his professor and told about his journey and very sadly he confessed that he had to sale his lucky charm in the process.

The professor smiled at him and said “It was a Golden coin… there in my drawer for so many years..  you proved it that that was not just a coin.. it was indeed a lucky charm..I am proud of you”

He continues “Thanks for taking right decision.. when you were going to commit suicide.. you decided to sale that coin.. if you wouldn’t have sold it.. you were about to die and there will be no story.. but now I have a great story to inspire everyone I meet.. Thank you so much”

Where’s the humanity?

I first want to share one recent incident.. there was new coming up in TV about a suicide of a man in some different town… that was the first time I heard the name of that town. Me and my grandma was watching that news..and when I looked to my grandma..her eyes were literally filled with tears. I asked her that is there any problem why are you disturb..she said “that man has committed suicide now what will be the situation of his wife and those little two daughter of him.. how they will live”

I couldn’t reply back promptly and then after a moment I said “God will bless them” and I turned off the TV and went out. That night when I went to sleep.. I was about thinking only one thing..why? why my grandma even  not knowing about the family even that town.. felt so bad about that news and why that news didn’t make any effect on me?.. is it like I am a heartless person…? Is it like I have no feelings…!!

I started one analysis on “what are the responses of other young and old generation?” for such news.

After a few days of face to face interview with around 30 other young boys and girls and around 15 old age people.

 I can say almost all the young people I met they had only the same response “I am sorry but  It happens man..don’t take it to your heart”.. “The Government is responsible..”.. and few of them said “will post on my facebook page.. give me the link”..

On the other side most of the old age people I met responded “why the people commit suicide.. they should fight back”… “Son, do pray for the person and the family he left back”… And I tell you almost all of them had their eyes watered.

This is not the country level research or any big analysis report but still I came at the conclusion that.. Today’s young generation know that It wad bad.. but they don’t feel bad… they know this shouldn’t have happened but if it’s happened it doesn’t effect them much…

I don’t want that they immediately start campaigning for the social issues but I was thinking we should at least feel that.. because unless and until we will feel it from our heart that it’s wrong..its’ bad we will ignore it ever.

Now,  my another concern was that how it happens.. that one generation and other feeling differently for the same news..the same thing.. both are responding completely differently.. why? What happened?

I was wondering for the same thing and I had no answers, after a few days.. I talked with my grand parents about the whole thing and they had one answer for me.

They said the reason the young generation is such like that is “Television , Media and Movies”

I was thinking like is it true or they are just saying it because in their generation there were no TV and we had this big 3D TV sets and so many channels and Ultra high-tech movies.

Then they replied back again… with a short story about Mahatma Gandhiji

“Do you know mayur? When Gandhi was a young boy he was also naughty and he often speak lie to his father and family… He was many time punished also.. once there was a drama show… that was the drama on the life of Raja Harishchandra.. I hope you remember the name… the king who lived with support of Truth in his life.. the king who sacrifices everything for truth…”. .. I said “Yes, pa I know..”.. they continue “so.. after watching that drama… The Young Gandhi has decided that now onwards in his life he will only speak truth and he will never lie”

As soon as the story ends I eagerly asked “So what? How it’s related..”

They again replied back to me with smile “Tell me my son.. when a boy Gandhi.. after watching a small drama become Mahatama Gandhi … What the great effects this TV Shows and Movies would have on today’s generation.. Each show showing violence..  suicides.. rapes.. sexual and mental harassments.. most of the all movies are showing such things to you… now you have became habituate to see all those things.. You all have now feelings that… Its common.. accidents happens..after playing you racing car video games.. You feel like it happes when you watch any crime news.. as you daily watch it over TV shows and in movies …”

I am completely agree with their response, I really think that they are completely right in each and every word they told me.

Straight from the heart

This is a story of small village, I forgot the name of the village but I still remember the complete story and I am sure that once you read this, you will also remember it forever...

In the village, there's one old woman. The woman was so much into her God. Whole day she keep praying the God, doing all kind of worship and takes God's name thousand times a day.

From morning to evening she stays in front of God and keep praying, she was good singer and very good cook. The old woman used to sing different prayer songs for her God also she makes new dishes everyday and offers to God.

Everyday she give bath to God, once she offer the food to God only then after she eat. This was her daily routine.

She think,speaks,live for only God. She truly believed in God and God was everything to her.

She had a son and daughter-in-low but unfortunately they both died in their younger age leaving their little daughter alone with grand mother.

Now the old lady and her grand daughter lives together. As usual the old lady is whole day busy in her worship and different offerings to God and she made the little Girl to do all the household works like cleaning and cooking and everything else, If the little girl do any mistakes or if any work is undone then her grand mother was used to scold her sometimes she also gets punished.

The young girl gets tired in the evening from the whole busy day of hard work and goes to sleep early in the evening, this was happening daily in their life.The Girl gets up in the morning start working to get her jobs done and the Old lady keeps herself busy in praying God.

After few days, The Old lady got to visit another village for some religious event but before going she has given strict instructions to the little Girl : "You will have to do all your daily work but before that you will have to do prayer to the God."

She made list of things to do for God like,
Give Bath to God , Then put new clothes and jewelry on God, make food for God and only once you offer the food to God then only you do everything else.

The lady returns to the home in the evening by the time the Little girl went asleep. She checked her God and She found that The God was wearing new cloths and jewelry but the plates in front of God was empty.
She got angry and started shouting on the little girl.

She scold the Girl that "I have instructed you to make food for God and then only you eat, Why you didn't offer food to my God?"

The little Girl was crying, She said I have already made food for the God in the morning.

The old woman was so angry that she slapped the Girl and said "You are lying, I have checked the plates and they are still empty"

Then the Girl replied "I almost get tired everyday after doing all the house works for cleaning,washing,cooking... and that day I got more burden of work to take care of your God, You instructed me to offer food to God and then only you do everything else.. so I made the food and offered him and was standing there and waiting for him to finish it so I can start other work.. but for a long time he didn't pick up a single piece of food.. as I was getting late to do my work.. "

She continues to say "I got angry and I shouted on him.. Come on,eat your food..I have many more things to do.. If you are not hungry you should have told me before.. now do eat it all or I will never give you food again.. and soon the God started eating the food and finished all of it"
